PAMA Report: Pakistan Car Sales Jump 27% in One Month

The latest Pakistan Car Sales Report presents fresh insights into the financial performance of local automakers, focusing on sales activity from the past month. The new figures, released by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), provide a detailed look at best-selling vehicles, leading companies, and overall market growth. Car Sales Performance

Based on the newest PAMA Car Sales Data, the market recorded a strong recovery, with car sales climbing 27% month-on-month in August 2025. A total of 14,050 cars were sold compared to 11,043 in July. Year-on-year numbers were even more impressive, showing a 62% increase, with 8,699 units sold in the same period last year. This boost reflects renewed demand and a clear sign of Pakistan Auto Market Growth.

Motorcycles and Three-Wheelers

The segment of motorcycles and three-wheelers also gained momentum. Sales grew 19% month-on-month, with 148,063 units sold in August, up from 124,538 in July. Year-on-year growth reached 42%, driven by higher demand in the budget commuter segment. Atlas Honda led with a 21% increase, selling 126,529 units. United Auto Motors rose to 13,408 units, while Yamaha Pakistan and Pak Suzuki also contributed with steady gains.

Trucks and Buses

Interestingly, the truck and bus segment reported mixed performance. Sales rose sharply to 666 units in August compared to 374 in July, reflecting renewed logistics demand. However, the sector remains volatile, requiring careful monitoring within the broader Pakistan Vehicle Sales Statistics.

Company-Wise Sales Overview

Breaking down the PAMA Report Car Sales, Pak Suzuki dominated growth with a 94% jump, selling 7,154 units. Toyota Pakistan remained stable with 3,400 units, while Honda Atlas faced a 28% decline, selling only 1,073 vehicles. Hyundai Nishat posted minor drops, recording 1,212 units, whereas Sazgar Engineering reported a slight decrease of 3%. It’s worth noting that Kia Lucky Motors, Changan, MG, Regal, and Proton are excluded as they are not PAMA members.

Car-Wise Sales Trends

In terms of models, the Suzuki Alto remained the top-selling car with 4,193 units, followed by the Suzuki Swift with 1,473. Toyota maintained strong numbers with 2,553 units of Corolla, Yaris, and Corolla Cross. Honda’s City and Civic recorded 699 units, while Hyundai’s Tucson achieved 631 units.
