Petrol and Diesel Prices Stay the Same

The Ministry of Finance has just released the long-awaited updates on petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan, and there are some interesting changes to take note of.

Unchanged Petrol and Diesel Prices

For those who were hoping for a break in their fuel expenses, it seems they will have to wait a little longer. The Ministry has decided to keep the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel the same as before, offering a temporary sigh of relief to motorists and transporters. This means that your next trip to the gas station won't hurt your wallet any more than it did before.

Petrol will continue to be priced at Rs. 283.38 per liter, and high-speed diesel will remain at Rs. 303.18 per liter.

Kerosene and Light Diesel Prices

The good news is for those who rely on kerosene oil and light diesel. The Ministry has chosen to lower the prices of these essential fuels.

Kerosene Oil : You can expect a decrease of Rs. 3.82 per liter, with the new rate being Rs. 211.03 per liter.

Light Diesel Oil : You'll see a reduction of Rs. 3.40 per liter, making it Rs. 189.46 per liter.

Petrol and Diesel's Impact

Petrol is the lifeblood of many vehicles, especially in regions like Punjab where compressed natural gas (CNG) is not as readily available. With the stable price of petrol, commuters can enjoy a bit more financial stability.
