Suzuki Alto Breaks Records with Massive Sales Jump in June

Each month, we provide a complete analysis of vehicle performance based on the latest data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA). The Suzuki Alto Sales report for June revealed a dramatic upswing, solidifying the model’s status as the Alto Market Leader in Pakistan.

In June, the Alto Sales Growth was nothing short of phenomenal. Suzuki sold an impressive 9,497 units of the Alto — a staggering 179% jump from the 3,409 units sold in May. This also marks a 29% year-on-year increase when compared to June last year, where Suzuki Car Sales for the Alto reached 4,352 units. This Massive Alto Jump clearly shows that the Alto remains a favorite among compact hatchbacks.

According to the Alto Sales Report, the overall performance of Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) also showed robust progress. The company recorded total sales of 13,217 units in June, up from 5,519 units in May, reflecting a 139% month-on-month increase. Aside from the Top Selling Alto, the breakdown includes 523 units of Cultus, 153 units of Wagon R, 1,784 units of Swift, 579 units of Ravi, and 681 units of Every.

Overall Car Sales See Major Improvement

PAMA’s latest figures show an overall 47% rise in car sales for June. Local manufacturers collectively sold 21,773 vehicles during the month, compared to 14,786 units in May. On a year-over-year basis, this represents a significant 64% increase. So far, for the first 11 months of FY25, cumulative Suzuki Car Sales and other automakers’ combined output has reached 148,023 units.

Toyota Pakistan saw a 24% drop in sales, recording 3,687 units in June compared to 4,829 units in May. Suzuki Alto Demand, on the other hand, overshadowed most rivals with its leading performance.

Honda Atlas recorded a 10% decline, selling 1,808 units compared to 2,005 in May. In contrast, Hyundai Nishat showed an 11% increase by moving 1,457 units, up from 1,307. Sazgar Engineering reported a 47% surge with 1,349 vehicles sold in June, versus 919 in May.

Brand-wise Model Breakdown

Sazgar Engineering (SAZEW) recorded an impressive 47% increase in sales, delivering 1,349 units in June compared to 919 units sold in May 2025.
Hyundai Nishat posted an 11% growth in monthly sales, selling 1,457 vehicles in June, up from 1,307 units in the previous month.
On the flip side, Toyota Pakistan experienced a decline of 24%, with June sales dropping to 3,687 units from 4,829 in May 2025.
Honda Atlas also reported a dip in sales performance, falling by 10%. The company sold 1,808 units last month compared to 2,005 in May.
In terms of model-wise performance, Toyota Indus managed to sell 2,902 units combined of Corolla, Yaris, and Corolla Cross, while sales of Fortuner and IMVs stood at 785 units.
Honda Atlas contributed 1,710 units of City and Civic models, along with 98 units of BR-V and HR-V combined.
Hyundai Nishat’s breakdown includes 275 units of Elantra, 100 units of Sonata, 302 of Porter, 664 Tucsons, and 136 Santa Fe SUVs.
Likewise, Sazgar Engineering delivered 1,337 units from the Haval lineup and an additional 12 units from the BAIC series.

It’s important to note that data from Kia Lucky Motors, Master Changan , Regal Motors, MG Motors, and Al-Haj Proton are not reflected in this report since these companies are not affiliated with PAMA.
