Toyota IMC Will Manufacture Hybrid Cars In Pakistan

A breaking news for Hybrid Car enthusiasts in Pakistan is that Toyota Indus Motors Company is now is moving towards the local assembling of Toyota Hybrid Cars in Pakistan. IMC aims to invest about 100 million dollars assemble the Toyota Hybrid Cars locally.

For an official notification to Pakistan stock Exchange PSX, the IMC claimed:

“The company will invest this amount in next 3 years,”

The company added that the company will invest the above mentioned amount for the extension and upgradation of its Toyota Hybrid Cars Assembling Plant in Pakistan. In addition to this company also plans to manufacture the Hybrid Cars Parts Locally and will also manufacture the first Toyota Hybrid Electric Vehicle in Pakistan Locally.

It is worthy to mention that IMC is already selling CBU units of Toyota Prius and Corolla Cross. However, Toyota Aqua, Toyota Corolla 12th Generation, Toyota C-HR, and E160 Toyota Corolla can also be debuted locally in the HEV segment in Pakistan.
