Traffic Challans to Be Delivered via WhatsApp - Detail Info

In a major digital upgrade, the traditional email method for delivering traffic e-challans is being discontinued. From now on, all Pakistan traffic challan notifications will be delivered straight to your phone through WhatsApp Traffic Fines. This new initiative by the Punjab Police WhatsApp service will allow users to receive detailed challans, including images of the violations, directly via Traffic Challan WhatsApp alerts.

Officials from the Punjab Safe Cities Authority confirmed that email will no longer be required for traffic fine alerts, corrections, or payments. Instead, violators will get automated messages through WhatsApp Fine System using the mobile numbers listed in the vehicle’s excise registration. Each WhatsApp challan notification will feature a payment link for fast and secure transactions.

For added convenience, citizens can also pay their online traffic fines through the Safe Cities website. Moreover, a new ‘Review’ button has been introduced, enabling users to contest any e-challan directly on the portal. The technical team will assess each request and make the necessary adjustments, streamlining the appeal process.

This transition from email to Traffic E-Challan WhatsApp delivery is part of ongoing efforts to improve Punjab traffic updates and simplify the experience for road users. It not only makes the system quicker but also brings transparency and ease for the general public.
