Xiaomi Plans To Launch Its Electric Car This Year

The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is now planning to jump in the electric vehicles market. According to reports, the company is planning to launch its first electric car this year. The good news is that, Xaomi is collaborating with the famous Chinese auto giant, Great Wall Motor Company GWMC to build a smart car.

Both companies will manufacture the EVs jointly but the electric vehicles will be sold under the brand name of Xiaomi. The company has named this project of manufacturing EVs as Xiaomi Smart. The project will start its operations in coming months. According to reports, the project will be lead by the Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun.

The company has not made any official announcement in this regard but hopefully company will soon showcase its electric cars project.
