5 Things You Should Never do while Driving a Vehicle

There are many automobile manufacturing companies all over the world, which use the turbochargers. They want to force the air to engine to get more power output. The turbo charged car was rare in Pakistan few years earlier. With the increase in the import of JDM cars, the German premium cars, the Honda Civic VTEC turbo and the local consumers started driving the turbocharged vehicles. Most of the Pakistanis do not have the experience to drive the turbocharged vehicles. They need to avoid give things, when they drive the turbocharged cars o r vehicles.
1. Driving Hard When Engine is Cold
When everything reaches to the optimal operating temperature, they need to drive the car hard. When the coolant gauge shows you the optimal temperature, you need to wait for few minutes as the heat level of engine coolant increases faster than that of engine oil. The engine oil needs to heat up to reach to the optimal temperature o r it will not flow as quickly as it needs to flow. It will give lower level of protection to engine and in the turbocharged vehicle, the oil has to travel through the turbocharger and it runs at the insanely high RPM. The proper oil flow is critical in the turbocharged engine and the best practice is to wait for the few minutes when the coolant gauge reached to the optimal level.
2. Shutting Off engine After Driving Hard
After running hard you car, you need to shut the engine of the car off and you are going to shut off the flow of the engine oil. When you leave the oil sitting on some hot areas like turbocharger and some other spots, then the hot areas will burn the lighter parts of oil and leave the thicker parts of the oil unburnt and it makes the oil thicker, which will have flow of normal viscosity and you will have to change the oil frequently. The thicker oil will not give the substantial protection to engine and it can cause premature wearing. They need to let the engine run for sometimes on low RPM o r keep it idle and let these areas cool down.
3. Give High Load at Low Engine RPMs
If you give high load at the low engine RPMs, it can affect any car, which is using manual o r sports mode. The turbocharged cars o r vehicles with the stick o r manual transmission will be affected by shifting of gear and you do not need to try to accelerate harder when your car is in higher gear. When you are in 5th gear on 1500 RPM and press the gas pedal, which is very dangerous condition for your engine. The users should note the condition, ‘low-speed pre-ignition’, which can happened in the small size turbocharged engine and they can advance significantly the timing of the spark. In this way, you can damage the pistons o r spark plugs o your car. In such conditions, it is best practice to switch to the lower gear to accelerate the car easily and they not overburden the engine.
4. Use low research octane number fuel
The quality of the fuel is really critical when you come to the turbocharged engine. You need to minimize probability of minimizing knock. When you use cheap fuel, it will adversely affect the performance of the car but also cause engine knocking. They need to use best fuel available.
5. Accelerate Hard when Come Out of Corner
You will already know that the turbocharged engine can produce more power than the naturally aspirated engine, when you consider the size and type of the two engines are same. If the cars have ‘Turbo Lag’, they need to press the accelerator hard on the corner and it might not deliver power to the tires. When the turbo lag is over, it delivers the power to the rear, front and all tires, which can cause your car to lose the balance. There are the chances that you can over steer o r under steer the car. You can go soft on the corners and the accelerate harder, they can have less curvy o r straight road ahead.
