Mitsubishi Lancer GLX 1.6 6th Generation

The Mitsubishi Lancer GLX 1.6 sixth generation was launched in the Pakistan between 2002 and 2006. It was brought in Pakistan a Complete Built Unit CBU. It has a best driving experience. It is not a locally assembled car. The Lancer GLX is Installed with 1.6-liter naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine made a respectable 110 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque and could be mated to a 5-speed manual o r a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Suzuki Swift 1.3 DLX 2nd Generation

The Suzuki launched the Suzuki Swift 1.3 DLX second generation in the Pakistani auto market of the Pakistan in 2010. The Suzuki Swift comes with a 1.3 liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder DOHC engine that made 90 hp and 114 Nm of torque and was mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The car is featured with a torsion bar coil spring in the back, McPherson strut suspension setup in the front, ventilated disks, conventional drum brakes and ABS technology as well. The feature of the Swift include fog lights, optional Sat-Nav, immobilizer system, power door locks, power windows, a good sound system with USB/Aux connectivity and four speakers, an A/C, two-way steering adjustment, among other options.

Honda Civic EXi and VTi 7th Generation

Honda Civic EXi and VTi seventh generation made its official debut in the Pakistani auto market in early 2002. It got popularity among the masses due to its elegant design and performance as well. The Honda Civic came with two main variants, Honda Civic EXi trim and Honda Civic VTi trim.

The EXi was installed with a 1.5 liter, naturally aspirated 4 cylinder petrol engine that made 115 hp and 142 Nm of torque. The car could only be had with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The VTi was offered with a 1.6 liter, naturally aspirated 4 cylinder petrol engine that made a healthier 132 hp and 151 Nm of torque. It offered the option of a 5-speed automatic transmission with Honda’s then-available new Progressive, Shift Schedule Management Technology PROSMATEC.

Both variants of the Honda Civic 7th Generation came with ventilated discs and All Four Wheels and VTI additionally offered Anti Lock Braking System ABS technology. Both had MacPherson Strut Coils spring suspension setup in the front and a double-wishbone coil spring setup outback.

The VTi trim level was also featured with extra goodies like 15-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof option, a better sound system, a pair of optional fog lights, and a differently patterned fabric interior.

Honda City i DSI 4th Generation

The Honda City-i-DSI 4th Generation is also another affordable used car available in the Pakistani auto market. It had a 1.3 liter, naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 82 hp and 119 Nm of torque. The car was offered with the option of either a 5-speed manual o r a 4-speed automatic transmission. There was also a VTEC Steermatic variant with a 1.5-liter engine and a 7-speed CVT automatic transmission.

The i-DSI City has a MacPherson strut suspension setup in the front and a Torsion Bar coil spring setup in the back. It also has ventilated disc brakes with ABS technology in the front and conventional drum brakes in the back.

The interior of the Honda Civic features power door locks, power windows, a decent sound system with USB/Aux connectivity and four speakers, an A/C, 4-way steering adjustment, etc. Outside, the owner has the option of alloy wheels and fog lights.

Toyota Corolla Altis 9th Generation

The Toyota Corolla Altis 9th Generation came in the Pakistani market in mid-2006 and was sold until late 2008 before it was replaced by the 10th Gen Corolla. The car was offered with a 1.8 liter, naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine that made 134 hp and 171 Nm of torque. It could be had with a 5-speed manual o r a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The Corolla had ventilated discs at the front and solid discs at the back, and the Anti-Lock Braking System ABS technology. Since it was too big and heavy 1,300 kg, the brakes were known to be ineffective for a car of this stature. In terms of suspension setup, the Corolla had a MacPherson Struts coils spring suspension setup in the front and a torsion bar coil spring setup at the back.
