The German manufacturing company, BigRep has created the first prototype of the 3D printed e-Motorbike, “NERA”. This bike is the first fully 3D printed and fully functional electric motorbike of the world and it is not manufactured for the customers to buy it. This 3D printed bike has the total weight of 60 kg and this bike has various futuristic features like airless tyres with customizable treat, programmable embedded LED lights, customizable seat and the chest rest and this also has the visually striking rhomboid wheel rim.

This bike and other prototypes push the creation of the engineering and it will reshape additive manufacturing, and 3D technology. NERA has the different innovations, which are developed by NOWlab like the airless tire, functional integration and embedded sensor technology. This bike has fully electric engine, which is fitted in this bike in the customizable case and this bike has the features of flexible bumpers rather than the standard suspension.

The engineers have adopted the existing motorcycle design and it has envisioned the bike for large format FFF technology, setting for creative design and it has broken the limits of the traditional mechanical engineering.
