This car is the front wheel drive 5 door mini hatchback, Mitsubishi has introduced the current shape of Mirage in 2012. Now we have the review of 6th generation 2015 Mirage G.

When you look at the exterior of the car, you will find it is relatively modern design. It has typically tear shape and overall form of the car is softer and rounder than the rivals. The roof of the car slants downwards at the back and you will see vents in front bumper and how big the halogen headlights are there. The front bumper is slightly bulging and has the extended splitters at bottom under fog lights.

Interior

The interior of the car shows that it has dashboard and it does not contain with flashy material in interior except for piano black accent around center part of dashboard. The vehicle does not come with touch screen multimedia system and has the simple factory fitted CD player and FA/AM radio. Mirage Performance and Drive

Mitsubishi Mirage 2015 Detailed Review

The mirage is provided in the market with 3 cylinder inline engine and the engine is added with MIVEC of Mitsubishi technology, which is the basic version of i-VTEC and VVT-i. The engine of the car makes about 68 HP and 86 Nm of torque and it can do 0 to 100 in 13.9 seconds and the top speed of the car is about 165 km/h. The small 3 cylinder engines have vibration and it is design limitation. Mitsubishi has installed the balancing mechanism to counter the throws of piston during the operation. It definitely works and engine feels smoother on idle and during driving.

The fuel average of car is impressive and during test, the car was showing 16.4 km per liter average continuously. The fuel tank can hold 35 liters of petrol and you can cover a lot of distance with this fuel and the fuel economy. The car was added with ABS and EBD and the brakes are very decent so you need to have grippy tires.

Comfort and Handling

The small cars are designed with enough storage spaces in its interior. There are 4 cup holders in front and two in the rear. The boot can hold 235 litters of luggage and this car has rear legroom for the bigger boot. The rear seats are added with 60/40 split. The rear seats are cramped and you do not get enough legroom and have similar sized adult sitting in front with front seats. Due to slanting roof line of car, the headroom at the rear seat gets narrow.

The overall ride quality is decent and the car is calm and collected. The suspension of the car is MacPherson Strut in front and trailing arms in rear. The car handles better than similar size vehicle like Vitz o r Passo and they are better than local WagonR.
