Solar Energy Vehicles Race in South Africa

The solar energy car race is held in South Africa and the cars covered the distance of four thousand and five hundred kilometers. This solar car race was named as Sasol Solar Challenge and it was started from Pretoria and it was completed at Cape Town. This car race was continued for eight days. 14 solar cars participated in this solar car race and the solar car prepared by Netherlands covered the distance in short time and won the first position during the race. It is said that this is the unique car race and the race of the solar cars is managed after every two years and the main aim of this race is to promote the cars, which run through solar energy.
