Suzuki Multiple Cars Prices Increase

Pakistan Suzuki has announced the prices with the increase due to recent devaluation of the Pakistani currency. Pak Suzuki and Toyota Indus have justified the price hike and said that the vehicles are mostly consisted of the imported hardware and the cost of the vehicles was more than usual if rupee has been devalued. The parts, which are manufactured in house with the import of the raw material and these parts are very expensive. • Mehran VX: Previous price of Rs. 6.79 lacs increased to Rs. 6.89 lacs.
• Mehran VXR: Previous price of Rs. 7.32 lacs increased to Rs. 7.42 lacs.
• Bolan: Previous price of Rs. 7.54 lacs increased to Rs. 7.64 lacs.
• Bolan Cargo: Previous price of Rs. 7.2 lacs increased to Rs. 7.30 lacs.
• WagonR VXR: Previous price of Rs. 10.54 lacs increased to Rs. 10.74 lacs.
• WagonR VXL: Previous price of Rs. 10.94 lacs increased to Rs. 11.14 lacs.
• Ravi: Previous price of Rs. 6.72 lacs increased to Rs. 7.06 lacs.
Expected Price Hikes
We expect from various other manufacturers like Honda Pakistan to increase the prices of their vehicles. As there are no auto manufacturing companies set up in Pakistan, pak automobile manufacturers have to rely on the heavy and expensive imports from other countries so that they can sustain assembly needs for their vehicles . There are about 60% of the components, which are required by automakers and they are imported and due to insubstantial home-made components, which are required for import of raw material.
