I’ve noticed bubbling and discoloration on the front bumper of my Hyundai Elantra 2021 model. It looks like a paint defect. Does Hyundai Pakistan cover paint problems under warranty, and what’s the claim process like?

Yes, Hyundai Pakistan does offer limited warranty coverage for paint and corrosion issues, usually under the anti-perforation warranty, which typically lasts for 3–5 years depending on your dealership. However:

The warranty usually does not cover paint damage caused by accidents, bird pings, acid rain, poor maintenance, o r third-party repainting.

You need to document the issue early and have it inspected by an authorized Hyundai service center.

If the issue is determined to be due to factory paint defects, they may repaint the affected area at no cost.
