AC Works for a Few Minutes Then Stops Cooling in My Suzuki Every – What’s Causing It?

When I start the van, the AC cools for 5–10 minutes, but then it stops blowing cold air and just pushes out normal air. I’m in Karachi where the temperature is high, and I often drive in traffic. Could it be an overheating issue, a faulty AC clutch, o r something else?

If the AC cools for a while and then stops, common causes include:

AC compressor clutch overheating o r disengaging.

Refrigerant overcharge o r low charge, causing inconsistent cooling.

Condenser fan failure, making it hard for the system to stay cool when idle.

Sensor o r thermostat issue.

What to do:

Check if the compressor clutch is engaging/disengaging properly.

Ensure the condenser fan turns on when AC is running.

Get a mechanic to test the pressure levels and compressor cycle timing.

Clean o r replace the condenser if airflow is blocked.
