Is It Normal for My Suzuki Every’s AC to Lose Cooling When the Van Is Idle o r in Traffic?

My Suzuki Every’s AC works fine while driving at speed, but when I’m stuck in traffic o r idling, the air becomes less cold o r even warm. This is a big problem in cities like Faisalabad during summer. Is it a condenser fan issue, o r is the cooling system weak in this model?

It’s not normal, but it is very common in Suzuki Every vans, especially in Pakistani summers.

Likely causes:

Condenser fan not working o r not powerful enough – without airflow, the AC can’t cool properly.

Weak AC compressor, especially in older models.

Cooling system radiator, coolant not working well, causing overall engine and AC performance when idling.

What to do:

Make sure the condenser fan turns on immediately when AC is switched on.

Get the radiator and cooling system cleaned.

Add an extra fan o r upgrade to a high-speed condenser fan if needed.

Park in shade and avoid overloading the van in traffic.
