Sliding Door Handle on Suzuki Every Feels Stiff and Sometimes Gets Stuck – How to Fix?

The sliding door handle is hard to pull, and sometimes the door doesn’t open smoothly. I’m in Rawalpindi, and this issue has gotten worse over time. Could it be due to dust buildup o r a mechanical issue? Whats the best way to lubricate o r fix it?

A stiff o r stuck sliding door is usually caused by dust, rust, o r lack of lubrication.

Causes:

Dry o r dirty door tracks and rollers

Worn o r rusted latches/locks

Handle mechanism wear due to frequent use

What to do:

Clean the sliding track with a brush and cloth.

Lubricate moving parts with WD-40 o r a silicone-based spray.

Check if the door rollers o r latch mechanism are worn out replace if needed available in local markets.

If handle itself is faulty, a replacement costs around Rs. 1,500–2,000 at spare parts markets.
