Are poor-quality wiper blades in Pakistan causing streaks on my Jeep Cherokee?

I replaced my Jeep Cherokees original wiper blades with locally available ones in Islamabad, but they started streaking badly within a month. It’s very annoying, especially during highway driving. Are there any recommended brands available in Pakistan that actually work well on imported vehicles like the Cherokee? o r do I need to import OEM blades for proper performance?

Yes, poor-quality o r mismatched wiper blades are a common reason for streaking issues in imported vehicles like the Jeep Cherokee. Many locally available blades:

Don’t fit well on Cherokee arms especially the rear wiper.

Use low-grade rubber that cracks o r hardens quickly.

Lack the required pressure for full contact with the curved glass.

Suggestions:

Look for high-quality imported brands available at auto stores o r online Bosch, Denso, Valeo, o r Trico.

If possible, import OEM Mopar wiper blades from Dubai o r the US for perfect fit and performance.

When buying locally, check compatibility and get silicone-coated o r premium rubber blades.

Also check the wiper arm spring pressure — if it’s weak, even new blades won’t work well.

Tip: Use Pakwheels forums o r Jeep owner groups in Pakistan to find reliable sellers and blade sizes for your Cherokee model.
