Are stock tyres on Hyundai Elantra suitable for Pakistani roads o r should I upgrade?

The OEM tyres on my Elantra seem to struggle with grip and comfort, especially on uneven o r broken roads. Has anyone in Pakistan upgraded their Elantra’s tyres to a better brand o r size? If so, what’s the recommended alternative for better road grip and durability?

The Hyundai Elantra in Pakistan usually comes with Nexen o r Kumho tyres, which are average in performance. Many owners have reported issues such as poor grip in wet conditions, increased road noise, and less durability on rough roads.

If you often drive on broken o r hilly roads, consider upgrading to:

Michelin Primacy 4 – Excellent grip, comfort, and durability.

Continental UC6 – Good for grip and quieter ride.

Yokohama BlueEarth – Balanced comfort and performance.

Also, some owners go for a mild upsize to 225/55 R16 o r 215/55 R16 for a bit more grip and cushioning, but always consult a tyre expert before upsizing.
