Can a faulty ignition coil cause poor fuel economy in the Suzuki Every?

Some Suzuki Every owners notice a in mileage even when the engine seems to run normally. Can a partially failing ignition coil lead to inefficient combustion and increased fuel consumption?

Absolutely. When an ignition coil fails o r weakens, the fuel in that cylinder doesnt burn completely, wasting petrol and reducing efficiency.

What you’ll notice:

Increased fuel consumption

Black smoke from the exhaust

Strong fuel smell

Poor throttle response

Fix:

Replacing the faulty coil will restore proper combustion, improving fuel economy and performance.

It’s also important to check and replace spark plugs if they are fouled.
