Does Hyundai Elantra’s AC face electrical issues in Pakistani models?
Sometimes my Elantra’s AC doesn’t start at all o r randomly stops cooling while driving. The blower works, but the air isn’t cold. Could this be due to a fuse, sensor, o r electrical issue common in locally assembled Elantras? Any tips for troubleshooting this problem?

Yes, electrical faults are another frequent reason why the Elantras AC may not blow cold air. These issues can be worsened by humidity, poor-quality roads, and local assembly tolerances.
Possible causes:
Blown AC fuse o r relay malfunction.
Faulty AC pressure switch o r thermistor.
Problem with the blower motor resistor.
Loose o r corroded wiring connectors due to moisture o r vibration.
Symptoms:
AC turns off randomly o r doesn’t turn on at all.
Fan works, but no cooling.
AC button lights up but doesn’t engage the compressor.
What to do:
Have an auto electrician scan the system with a diagnostic tool OBD-II.
Check the fuse box under the dashboard and hood for AC-related fuses.
Request a relay swap test to rule out a faulty relay.
Tip: Avoid roadside electricians who bypass systems — always get electrical repairs done from Hyundai service centers o r trusted workshops with experience in Korean vehicles.
