Feathering on My Suzuki Everys Tires – What Causes This and How to Fix It?

The tires on my Suzuki Every show a feathered wear pattern tread feels rough when rubbed one way. I read online this might be due to poor toe alignment. I drive in Peshawar, where road quality isn’t great. Is this common for Every, and should I go for computerized wheel alignment o r manual?

Feathering when tread edges feel smooth in one direction and sharp in the other is usually caused by:

Incorrect toe settings – Either toe-in o r toe-out alignment issues.

Driving with misaligned front wheels for long periods.

Worn-out steering o r suspension parts allowing too much wheel play.

Solution:

Get a precise computerized wheel alignment done and ask for toe adjustment specifically.

Inspect tie rod ends, steering rack bushings, and control arms.

Replace tires if wear is too severe, and maintain a consistent rotation schedule.
