Front Tires of My Suzuki Every Wearing Out on the Inside – What Could Be the Reason?

I noticed that the inner edges of the front tires on my Suzuki Every are wearing out faster than the rest of the tread. I mostly drive in Lahore on urban roads with some potholes and speed bumps. Is this due to a misalignment o r suspension issue? Anyone else in Pakistan facing the same problem with imported Every vans?

If the inner edges of your front tires are wearing out, the most common reason is wheel misalignment, specifically negative camber o r toe-out alignment. This happens when:

The wheel alignment is off due to hitting potholes o r speed breakers common on Pakistani roads.

The front suspension components like lower arms o r ball joints are worn out o r loose.

The vehicle is lowered o r heavily loaded in the front, changing suspension geometry.

Solution:

Get a computerized wheel alignment done.

Ask the mechanic to check for worn suspension bushings o r tie rod ends.

Rotate the tires regularly and maintain correct tire pressure usually 30-32 PSI.
