How does a wrong spark plug gap affect engine performance in Suzuki Every?

I recently got the spark plugs changed in my Suzuki Every, but after that, the engine feels rough, and fuel average has ped. A friend said the plug gap might not be correct. How important is the plug gap in these vans, and what is the recommended gap for Suzuki Every’s engine? Can this really affect engine performance?

The spark plug gap is critical to engine performance. If the gap is too wide, the spark may be weak o r misfire. If it’s too narrow, the spark may not ignite the air-fuel mixture properly.

Effects of wrong gap:
Rough idle o r vibration

Poor throttle response

Low fuel economy

Hard starting

Engine knocking

Correct Gap for Suzuki Every 660cc:

Typically 0.6 – 0.8 mm, depending on the specific engine variant check your owner’s manual o r plug packaging

Always ask the mechanic to check and set the gap manually using a feeler gauge, even if the plugs are “pre-gapped.”
