How Much Should Suspension Repairs o r Replacements Cost for Jeep Cherokee on Rough Roads?

Travel on bumpy, unsealed roads has really done a number on my Cherokee’s suspension — shocks, bushings, maybe control arms are all worn. I want to get them replaced. What should I expect to pay, for parts + labour, for a full front suspension refresh shocks, bushings, control arms in a city like Lahore o r Islamabad? Are used o r aftermarket parts much cheaper, and do owners find them worth it?

Estimated Cost:

For replacing a single shock absorber front o r rear: PKR 40,000 ‒ 80,000 depending on brand / OEM vs aftermarket

For changing bushings, control arms etc. — a partial front suspension job might cost PKR 100,000 ‒ 200,000 including parts & labour

For full front suspension overhaul shocks, control arms, bushings etc.: PKR 200,000 ‒ 400,000+

What Impacts Cost:

Type / quality of parts OEM vs good aftermarket vs used

Which parts need replacement just shocks vs control arms, ball joints, bushings etc.

Labour complexity & time

Location of workshop major cities often cost more, remote areas less but possibly harder to find good quality parts
