How often should the purge control valve be cleaned o r replaced in Pakistani conditions?

Given the dusty environment and variable fuel quality in Pakistan, how often should the purge control valve in a Suzuki Every be serviced? Is cleaning enough, o r does it need full replacement after a certain mileage?

In Pakistan, due to dusty air, irregular fuel quality, and lack of regular maintenance, purge valves tend to wear out faster than in controlled environments. Recommended intervals:

Cleaning: Every 20,000–30,000 km, especially if driving in dusty areas o r using low-quality petrol.

Replacement: Every 50,000–70,000 km, o r earlier if it shows signs of failure rough idling, poor fuel economy, EVAP codes.

Additional Tips:
Use high-quality fuel and replace the fuel cap if it doesn’t seal properly.

During routine maintenance, ask your mechanic to check EVAP hoses and vacuum lines for leaks o r cracks.
