Is it safe to continue driving my Suzuki Every with a faulty ignition coil?

Due to limited access to mechanics in some areas of Pakistan, many drivers continue using the van despite performance issues. What are the risks of driving with a bad ignition coil, and can it damage the catalytic converter o r engine?

No, it is not safe o r advisable. Continuing to drive with a faulty ignition coil can cause:

Catalytic converter damage due to unburned fuel.

Engine overheating o r knocking.

Long-term damage to pistons o r valves.

Increased fuel cost and emissions.

Advice:

Drive only short distances if absolutely necessary.

Get the ignition coil replaced as soon as possible to avoid costly engine repairs.
