Is my Suzuki Every alternator causing the battery to die repeatedly?

: Ive replaced the battery twice in the last 6 months, but it keeps going flat. A mechanic mentioned the alternator might not be charging it properly. How can I confirm if the alternator is the issue and not the battery?

Yes, a weak o r faulty alternator is a common cause of repeated battery drain. The alternator charges the battery while the engine is running. If it’s not providing enough current:

The battery won’t recharge properly

You’ll need frequent jump-starts

Electrical components might act erratically
You can confirm alternator output with a voltmeter—while the engine is running, it should show between 13.5V and 14.5V at the battery terminals. If it’s lower, the alternator or its voltage regulator may need repair o r replacement.
