Is there a recall o r known issue with Hyundai Elantra transmission coolers in Pakistan?

My 2019 Elantra started leaking fluid near the front radiator area, and a mechanic suggested it might be from the transmission cooler. Is this a known issue in Elantras here, o r should I look elsewhere?

As of now, there’s no official recall from Hyundai Nishat Hyundai’s local partner in Pakistan specifically related to transmission coolers for the Elantra. However:

Some 2017–2019 Elantra models globally had reports of leaking o r clogged transmission cooler lines.

In Pakistan, many cases of transmission leaks near the front radiator area were found to be caused by faulty o r loosened transmission cooler hose clamps o r minor cracks in the cooler itself.

If youre experiencing fluid leakage near the front of the engine bay, ask a qualified mechanic to pressure-test the cooler lines. Replacing the clamps o r switching to more heat-resistant hoses can resolve the issue.
