I drive a 2015 Elantra and have noticed the illumination behind the speedometer and climate controls is dim o r completely out in some areas. Are these individual bulbs o r an LED panel? Could this be a fuse o r wiring issue?

Dashboard lighting issues in the Elantra can result from a few things:

Worn-out incandescent bulbs older models: Some trim levels still use tiny bulbs behind the gauges.

Blown fuse: If multiple lights are out, check the interior fuse box.

Dimmer switch failure: Try adjusting the dimmer dial. If nothing happens, it may be faulty.

Wiring/connectors: Loose o r corroded connections can cause intermittent lighting issues.

For models with LED dashboards usually 2017+, individual component failure might require replacing the entire instrument cluster o r circuit board, which is more expensive and typically done at a dealership.
