My Suzuki Every Takes Too Long to Stop – Could It Be Due to Worn Brake Pads?

Recently, my Every 2016 model is taking more time and distance to come to a full stop, even at low speeds. I’m in Rawalpindi, driving daily through traffic with frequent braking. Could worn-out brake pads be the reason, o r is it something with the brake fluid o r master cylinder?

Yes, worn brake pads can cause your vehicle to take longer to stop because less friction material contacts the rotors. However, other issues may contribute:

Brake fluid may be low o r contaminated.

Air in the brake lines can reduce brake responsiveness.

The brake master cylinder o r calipers could be faulty.

What to do:

Check and replace brake pads if thin.

Bleed the brake system to remove air bubbles.

Inspect brake fluid level and quality flush and replace if necessary.

Get a professional brake inspection for master cylinder o r caliper issues.
