United Bravo Not Starting After a Few Days of Inactivity – Battery Keeps Going Dead
My Bravo stays parked for 3–4 days without use, and every time I try to start it afterward, the battery is completely dead. I have to jump-start it each time. Is this a common problem with United Bravo cars? Could the stock battery be too weak, o r is the alternator not charging properly? What’s the best long-term solution—should I upgrade the battery o r install a cutoff switch?

Gari Master - on 08 Nov 2025 15:53:56 pmWhen the Bravo sits unused, the small battery often loses charge quickly due to ECU memory and security system draw. Many owners face this after 2–3 idle days.
Possible Reasons:
The stock battery capacity 35Ah is too low for the car’s electrical setup.
Alternator charging is weak — it charges while driving, but not enough if you only take short trips.
Poor grounding under the battery tray can reduce charging efficiency.
Fix / Recommendation:
Upgrade battery to a 45–50Ah model AGS GL-50, Volta CR-50, etc..
If the car remains unused often, install a battery cutoff switch o r use a trickle charger.
Ensure alternator output and ground connections are solid.
Avoid frequent short trips less than 5–10 km that don’t recharge the battery fully.
