What are the common signs of alternator problems in Suzuki Every during winter?

In colder weather, my Suzuki Every struggles to start, and I hear whining noises from the engine bay. Are alternator issues more common in winter, and what specific problems should I look for?

Cold weather puts extra stress on the battery and alternator. In winter, alternator failure signs may become more noticeable, such as:

Hard starting in the morning

Battery drains faster

Whining o r squealing noises when you start the car due to belt slippage o r alternator strain

Interior lights dimming

Dashboard flickering
Alternators can struggle in cold weather because the engine is harder to crank and battery power naturally weakens in low temperatures. Make sure the alternator belt isn’t loose, and get a battery and alternator check-up before winter each year.
