What are the signs of a failing water pump in my Suzuki Every?

Ive noticed my engine temperature rising more than usual, and theres a whining noise near the engine. Could this mean the water pump is failing? What are the most common symptoms of a bad water pump in the Suzuki Every?

A failing water pump in your Suzuki Every can show several signs. Common symptoms include:

Engine overheating even when coolant levels are fine.

A whining, grinding, o r squealing noise near the water pump area often caused by a worn bearing.

Coolant leaks from the front of the engine, especially around the water pump pulley.

Steam o r a sweet smell from the engine bay, indicating coolant evaporation.

Rust o r corrosion around the pump if coolant has been leaking slowly.
It’s best to have the vehicle inspected quickly, as continued use with a failing pump can lead to serious engine damage due to overheating.
