What causes the remote central locking in Suzuki Every to stop working intermittently?

Sometimes, the remote key fob works fine for locking/unlocking the Suzuki Every, but other times it doesn’t respond at all. Could this be a signal issue, weak battery in the remote, o r something wrong with the vehicle’s receiver o r wiring?

If your remote works sometimes but not always, possible causes include:

Weak Remote Battery: The coin cell inside the remote may be low on charge.

Signal Interference: Electronic interference especially in urban Pakistani areas may disrupt the remote signal.

Faulty Central Locking Receiver: The receiver inside the vehicle may have a loose connection o r be failing.

Damaged Antenna Wire if equipped: Some systems use a wire antenna to boost remote signal, which may be cut o r corroded.

Solution:
Replace the remote battery first.

Try using the remote from different distances o r angles.

If the issue persists, have the central locking receiver and wiring inspected by an auto electrician.
