What causes uneven tire wear even after a recent alignment on my Hyundai Elantra?

I just had an alignment done on my 2018 Elantra, but I’m still seeing uneven tread wear. The tires are wearing more on one side than the other. Could there be another issue with suspension o r tire quality?

If your Elantra still has uneven tire wear after an alignment, it may be due to other underlying mechanical issues:

Possible causes:

Worn suspension components struts, bushings, control arms that weren’t addressed during alignment

Uneven tire wear patterns already developed before alignment

Poor-quality o r mismatched tires

Improper tire rotation intervals

What to do:

Have a technician inspect ball joints, bushings, and struts

Replace any heavily worn tires

Ensure tire rotations are done every 5,000–7,500 miles

Double-check that a full 4-wheel alignment was performed some shops only do front-end

Uneven wear after alignment suggests the root cause wasn’t fully addressed during service.
