What damage can occur if I continue driving with a transmission fluid leak in my Suzuki Every?

Due to unawareness o r lack of access to mechanics, many drivers in Pakistan continue driving even with minor fluid leaks. What internal damage can result from low transmission fluid, and how serious can it become?

Driving with low transmission fluid can cause serious damage to your Suzuki Everys gearbox, especially CVT models.

Risks include:

Overheating of transmission components.

Increased friction, leading to worn clutch packs and internal gears.

Delayed shifting o r complete gear failure.

In worst cases, you may need a complete transmission overhaul, which is expensive and time-consuming in Pakistan.

Recommendations:

If you suspect a leak, check fluid levels immediately.

Do not drive long distances until the leak is repaired and fluid topped up.

Schedule regular transmission inspections, especially if the van is used commercially o r for long routes.
