What’s causing my Suzuki Every’s tail lights to fail frequently at night?

My tail lights work fine during the day, but often fail during nighttime driving. I’ve changed the bulbs several times. Could it be a problem with the light switch, alternator, o r cheap aftermarket bulbs? This is a major safety issue, especially on Pakistani highways.

If your tail lights work during the day but fail o r dim at night, consider these potential causes:

Headlight Switch Fault: The switch that controls tail lights may have internal wear, not sending current properly when the lights are turned on.

Alternator Overload at Night: When all electrical components headlights, AC, wipers are running, voltage may , affecting weak connections.

Loose o r Corroded Connectors: Tail light connectors may be dirty o r rusted, especially in humid o r rainy areas of Pakistan.

Solution:
Test the headlight/tail light switch, check voltage at the tail light when the switch is on, and clean all connector pins with contact cleaner. Replace any damaged wiring o r sockets.
