Why are the inside edges of my Hyundai Elantra’s front tires wearing out faster than the rest?

I drive a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, and I noticed that the inside edges of both front tires are wearing down much faster than the rest of the tread. What could be causing this? Is it an alignment issue o r suspension-related?

Inside edge tire wear on the front tires is usually caused by incorrect wheel alignment, specifically excessive negative camber o r toe-out alignment.

Common causes in the Elantra:

Misalignment due to potholes, curbs, o r suspension wear

Worn ball joints o r control arm bushings

Sagging springs o r struts affecting suspension geometry

Even small misalignments can lead to premature tire wear. It’s recommended to:

Get a 4-wheel alignment check

Inspect front suspension components

Rotate tires every 5,000–7,000 miles

If not corrected, this wear can reduce tire life by thousands of miles.
