Why do my Suzuki Every dashboard bulbs stop working, even though the meters work fine?

Why do my Suzuki Every dashboard bulbs stop working, even though the meters work fine?

The dashboard display in my Suzuki Every lights up unevenly o r goes completely dark at times, although the speedometer and other gauges are still working. Are the bulbs behind the cluster burning out? Could vibration o r moisture be causing this?

If your dashboard backlight bulbs stop working, but the meters speedometer, fuel gauge, etc. still function, here are likely reasons:

Burned Out Mini Bulbs: The small bulbs behind the cluster may have simply reached end of life.

Loose Cluster Connector: Vibration can loosen the harness connection over time.

Moisture o r Dust Ingress: Dashboard areas are sometimes not well-sealed, especially in older o r reconditioned models.

Solution:
Remove the instrument cluster, check and replace any burned-out bulbs with proper T5 o r T10 dashboard bulbs, clean contacts, and re-seat connectors. Add foam o r padding behind if vibrations are suspected.
