If your Elantras transmission is sluggish, it could be due to old o r degraded transmission fluid. In Pakistan, many service centers don’t follow proper ATF Automatic Transmission Fluid change intervals. If the wrong ATF type is used, o r if it hasn’t been changed for over 80,000 km, it can lead to jerky shifting, slipping gears, o r lag. In some cases, the Transmission Control Module TCM may also develop software-related issues that require reprogramming o r reset.
