Why does my Hyundai Elantra get frequent dents from minor impacts?

I own a 2022 Hyundai Elantra in Pakistan, and I’ve noticed the body seems to dent very easily even with small bumps o r contact. Is this a known issue with the Elantras build quality o r material used in its panels?

Many Hyundai Elantra owners in Pakistan report that the body panels, especially the doors and fenders, seem to dent more easily than other sedans like Corolla o r Civic. This may be due to thinner sheet metal used to reduce vehicle weight and improve fuel efficiency. Lighter panels can make the car more fuel-efficient, but they are also more prone to dents from even minor collisions, such as opening the door against a wall o r getting bumped in tight traffic. This is not necessarily a manufacturing defect, but more of a trade-off in modern car design. Using door guards and parking carefully can help reduce these occurrences.
