Why does my Hyundai Elantra have excessive tyre wear on the inner edge?
I’ve noticed that the inner edges of my Elantras front tyres are wearing out much faster than the rest of the tread. I regularly check tyre pressure and rotate tyres as recommended. Is this a known issue in Elantra models in Pakistan, and could it be due to suspension alignment o r road conditions?

Another contributing factor can be negative camber — if the wheel tilts inwards too much at the top, it puts extra pressure on the inner edge of the tyre. Many Elantra users in Pakistan have reported this issue, and regular alignment checks every 5,000 to 7,000 km are highly recommended.
Also, check the lower control arms, bushings, and strut mounts, which can wear faster due to rough roads, leading to improper alignment and uneven wear.
