Why does my Hyundai Elantra vibrate when braking at high speeds?

When I’m on the motorway o r driving fast and press the brake, there’s a vibration o r pulsing in the brake pedal. Could this be due to worn brake pads, o r is it something like warped rotors?

Vibration during braking, especially at high speeds like on the motorway, usually points to warped brake rotors discs. In Pakistan, this can happen due to:

Overheating of brakes from long hill descents e.g., Murree, Margalla Hills.

Poor-quality brake pads that create uneven pressure.

Sudden braking at high speeds, which can heat and deform rotors.

If your steering wheel also shakes while braking, it confirms rotor issues. A brake disc resurfacing o r replacement might be needed. Always get the pads and rotors checked together for proper balance.
