Why does my Suzuki Every battery keep dying overnight?

My Suzuki Every’s battery is completely dead every morning, even though it was fine the day before. I haven’t left any lights on. Could this be due to a parasitic drain o r faulty wiring? How do I diagnose the root cause?

If your battery dies overnight, even when nothing obvious is left on, it’s likely caused by a parasitic drain. This means something in your car is continuously drawing power even when the ignition is off. Common culprits include:

A faulty door light switch

Aftermarket alarms o r trackers

Short circuits in wiring

Faulty relays o r modules like central locking
To diagnose, a mechanic will do a parasitic drain test using a multimeter. Fixing this early prevents permanent battery damage. If your battery is more than 2 years old, it may also not hold charge well and should be tested.
