Why does my Suzuki Every lose power o r struggle to move in gear?

Some drivers report that their Suzuki Every engine revs, but the van struggles to move, especially when shifting into ‘Drive’ o r ‘Reverse’. What transmission-related problems could cause this issue, and how serious is it?

This issue is a red flag for serious transmission problems. Possible causes include:

Low o r burnt transmission fluid: Causes clutch packs to fail.

Damaged torque converter: Cannot transfer engine power effectively.

Worn-out internal components: Such as solenoids, valve body, o r bands.

CVT belt failure in CVT versions: Can cause the vehicle to rev without moving.

Solution:
