Why does my Suzuki Everys brake light bulb keep going out?

The brake light on my Suzuki Every has burned out multiple times in the last year. I use the van mostly in city traffic where braking is frequent. Could this be due to poor electrical grounding, vibration, o r low-quality replacement bulbs available in Pakistan?

Brake lights are critical and are frequently used in city traffic like Karachi o r Lahore. Here’s why they may keep failing:

Poor Ground Connection: If the bulb socket has rust o r poor contact, current may fluctuate and shorten the bulb’s lifespan.

Cheap o r Overused Bulbs: Locally sold low-grade bulbs often don’t last under high usage.

Excessive Heat: If youre using the wrong wattage bulb o r the socket has poor ventilation, heat buildup can shorten bulb life.

Solution:
Clean the socket, check the grounding wire, and use standard wattage high-quality bulbs e.g., 21W for brake lights. If one side keeps going out, consider replacing the socket o r checking for corrosion.
