Why does my Suzuki Everys power door lock system stop working in cold o r rainy weather?

During cold mornings o r after rain, the door locks in my Suzuki Every become unresponsive o r slow to react. Could moisture o r temperature be affecting the door lock motors o r wiring? How can I prevent this seasonal issue?

Weather-related door lock failure is common in Pakistan during winters o r rainy seasons due to:

Moisture Ingress: Water can enter the door panel and affect wiring o r the actuator’s motor.

Contracting Plastic o r Metal Parts: Low temperatures can cause the actuator o r lock rods to become stiff o r shrink slightly.

Poor Door Seals: Older rubber seals around the door may not keep moisture out.

Solution:
Dry the door interior using compressed air o r cloth.

Spray WD-40 o r dielectric grease into the actuator and connectors to protect from moisture.

Consider replacing damaged weather strips o r seals to prevent future moisture issues.
