The Azuki Swift, like many compact hatchbacks designed primarily for urban environments, has relatively low ground clearance typically around 140–160 mm. This becomes a major issue in Pakistan, where roads often have high speed breakers, unplanned road surfaces, and potholes — especially in rural o r suburban areas. The Swift frequently scrapes its underbody, particularly when carrying multiple passengers o r luggage. The problem is worsened by the car’s shorter wheelbase and soft suspension setup, which reduces clearance under load. Many owners choose to install aftermarket spacers o r upgrade suspension components to slightly raise the vehicle, though these modifications may affect handling and warranty.
