Why does the paint on my Suzuki Every fade quickly under sunlight?

Why does the paint on my Suzuki Every fade quickly under sunlight?

Many Suzuki Every owners in Pakistan notice the paint fading, especially on the roof and bonnet, within a few years. Is this due to poor factory paint quality, lack of UV protection, o r Pakistan’s harsh sun exposure?

Suzuki Every vans, especially older JDM-imported models, often have single-stage o r thin factory paint without strong UV-resistant clear coats. Pakistan’s intense sun exposure, especially in cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Multan, accelerates paint fading.

Causes:

Direct UV rays break down the paint molecules.

Dark colors absorb more heat, leading to faster fading.

Lack of waxing o r protective coatings.

Solutions:

Park in shaded areas o r use a car cover.

Apply ceramic coating o r high-quality wax every 4–6 months.

Avoid washing the car under direct sunlight.
