Why Does the Suzuki Swift in Pakistan Dent So Easily from Minor Impacts?

I’ve noticed that my Suzuki Swift gets dented easily from minor bumps, like slight door hits o r even soft parking mistakes. Is the metal used in Pakistani models thinner o r weaker? How does it compare with imported models o r other local cars?

Yes, it’s a commonly observed issue among Suzuki Swift owners in Pakistan. The body panels of the locally assembled Swift tend to be thinner than those of many imported models o r higher-end vehicles. This is often done to keep production costs low, making the car more affordable. As a result, the sheet metal doesnt absorb minor impacts well and shows dents easily, especially on doors and the bonnet. Compared to imported Japanese cars like the Toyota Vitz o r Honda Fit, the Swift’s body feels lighter and more prone to damage from things like door dings in tight parking spaces o r small bumps in traffic.
